Apple has released its annual proxy filing for 2025. The document contains details about the company’s operations and is mandated to be issued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The filing also reveals compensation paid to Apple executives including CEO Tim Cook, CFO Kevan Parekh and COO Sabih Khan.

How much did Apple pay Tim Cook in 2025?

According to the filing, Tim Cook received a total compensation package of $74.3 million (approximately Rs 668 crore) for 2025. This figure is large, but it is actually slightly less than the $74.6 million (approximately Rs 671 crore) salary Cook will receive in 2024.

Interestingly, the filing shows that Apple had set a target of $59 million (about Rs 531 crore) for Cook. However, they earned more because of the incentive bonuses that executives receive when Apple performs well.

Cook’s 2025 earnings include a base salary of $3 million (roughly Rs. 27 crores) that is unchanged from 2016, $57.5 million (roughly Rs. 517 crores) in stock awards and $12 million (roughly Rs. 108 crores) in non-equity incentive plan compensation. Additionally, $1.7 million (about Rs 15 crore) in other compensation was allocated for benefits such as security and essential use of private aircraft for both business and personal travel.

The data comes as Apple is making a leadership change and preparing for its annual meeting to be held in late February. According to the New York Times, Tim Cook has informed senior Apple leaders that he wants to reduce his workload. He is expected to become the chairman of the Apple board. Apple’s engineering chief John Ternes is believed to be Cook’s possible replacement as CEO.

How much did Kevan Parekh and Sabih Khan earn in 2025?

Kevan Parekh and Sabih Khan are two Apple executives who are of Indian origin. Parekh serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Cupertino giant, while Khan was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer in July 2025.

According to the filing, Sabih Khan earned a total compensation package of $27 million (approximately Rs 243 crore) in 2025, which included a base salary of $1 million (approximately Rs 90 lakh) and stock awards worth $22 million (approximately Rs 198 crore).

Kevan Parekh, on the other hand, received a package of $22.4 million (approximately Rs 201 crore), which included a basic salary of $891,519 (approximately Rs 80 lakh) and stock worth $18.4 million (approximately Rs 165 crore).
