Apple has announced a back-to-school sale in India, offering special discounts to students, teachers, and parents. The sale, which will run until September 2024, is offering huge savings on Mac and iPad purchases. Although Apple has not yet revealed the prices of the devices on offer, it has confirmed some details on its official website. People with an educational background will be able to access all the details after authorizing their eligibility on the Apple website.

According to Apple’s terms and conditions page, users purchasing eligible Macs with select AirPods will be able to claim a discount offer of Rs 19,900, which will appear on the checkout page. It is currently unknown if Macs will also get an additional discount or this is the only offer people will get. Eligible Macs include the iMac, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro. With these Macs, one needs to add the AirPods 3, AirPods Pro 2, or AirPods Max to the cart to claim the above-mentioned discount offer, which will be automatically applied.

Those buying the Mac Mini have the option of buying the AirPods 2, AirPods 3 or AirPods Pro 2, but the amount of discount on this Mac product is slightly less. The site says that if someone buys any of these earphones as well, they will get a flat discount of Rs 12,900 on the Mac Mini.

Options for iPads are limited. The 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro with M4 chip are available with Apple Pencil Pro or Apple USB-C Pencil. Customers will get a discount of Rs 11,900 in this package. According to the official website, the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air with M2 chip, which have the same pencils, can be purchased with a discount of Rs 7,900.

To take advantage of these offers, purchasers must be currently enrolled or accepted at a higher education institution, be a teacher or staff member at any level, or be a parent purchasing for a student. This offer is also valid for current and newly accepted university students. Proof of eligibility, such as a student ID or acceptance letter, is required at time of purchase.

These offers are available at Apple’s online Education Store and Apple retail locations. To take advantage of the discounts online, eligible customers can verify their status through UNiDAYS or Apple’s own verification process. In store, presenting proper identification or documentation will suffice.
