Apple iPad Air : has quietly downgraded the tech specs of the iPad Air (2024) that it unveiled at its ‘Let Loose’ event on May 7. The tablet’s specification page on Apple’s website has been updated and now mentions that the iPad Air (2024) – iPad Air 2024 equipped with the M2 SoC – has a 9-core GPU instead of 10-core, while other specifications such as CPU cores and Neural Engine cores The count remains the same.

The iPad Air (2024) debuted in 10.9-inch and 13-inch display variants with the M2 chip. The chip has an 8-core CPU, 16-core neural engine and 8GB of RAM. iPad Air 2024 Initially, Apple mentioned that the GPU includes 10-cores, but has now updated the iPad’s technical specifications page.

The iPad Air (2024) has a Liquid Retina (LCD) screen with an optional anti-reflective coating. It has a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with auto image stabilization on the back, while the front has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. iPad Air supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and comes in two variants: Wi-Fi and Cellular.

iPad Air (2024) price in India starts from Rs. 59,900 for the 11-inch Wi-Fi variant with 128GB storage, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant is priced at Rs. 79,990 has been kept. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants of the 13.9-inch iPad Air model are priced at Rs. 74,900 and Rs. 94,900, respectively.
