Listen to the story

In short
- Samsung accidentally leaked the names of its next-gene foldables
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Feg may be included in general foldables
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra may come later
What could be the most classic case of information leakage, Samsung accidentally let the cat go out of the bag. Tech giant has confirmed the names of its next generation foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 through the internal beta version of their own app. And if it was not enough, the signs of a brand-new “ultra” foldable have added more fuel to the fire before Samsung’s expected July showcase.
The blunder was first seen by people in the Galaxylub, who discovered references to “fold 7” and “Flip 7” in the beta version of Samsung’s Internet browser, especially designed for internal test devices. These test units are allegedly running a UI 8, Android 16 with Samsung’s upcoming software updates. While no specifications were involved, the names of the device in an official app are as good as confirmation.

Samsung Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7: What do we know so far
While Samsung has not yet made any formal announcement, the leak has painted a clear picture of what has been expected. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is tipped to reveal when a slightly wide 6.5-inch outer screen and a smooth, thin body-3 mm when it is exposed. Internal performance, to measure 8.2 inches, is expected to maintain a 120Hz refresh rate, as the cover display.
Power to fold 7 will probably be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will also have an onboard storage up to 12 GB RAM and 1 TB. There is also a major main camera of 200MP, which will take an important step in imaging performance. The device is expected to ship with a UI8 and increase the cooked galaxy AI features in software experience.
Samsung Galaxy Flip 7 Fe
In an attempt to bring foldables to a comprehensive audience, Samsung is allegedly planning to launch a more budget -friendly option: Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (Fan Edition). South Korea’s reports suggest that Flip FE may also come at a lower price point of $ 736 (about 61,000 rupees), although the official pricing will vary by the region due to local taxes and import duties.
According to a report by Winfuture, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy unveiled a host of new devices is expected to be unveiled – including Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic more cheaper Z Flip 7FEs with 8 classic. This development raises questions about an earlier rumor that suggested that Z Flip 7 fees will start with Galaxy S25 Fe in September. It is now possible that Samsung may officially announce Z Flip 7 Fe during the July incident, but can choose the late release option later in the year later, possibly aligning with S25 Fe launch window.
But, what about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra?
Adding another twist to the story, Samsung recently called the “next chapter of Ultra” – a phrase with a cryptic animation that shows the silhouette, which appears as a re -designed Galaxy Z folded device. While no name was mentioned, there is speculation that Samsung may be ready to launch its first True Galaxy Z Fold Ultra.
Last year’s Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition was limited to only two countries and was released in very small numbers. This time, however, the message seems to be more global in nature-Samsang suggests that it is trying to expand its foldable portfolio with a new top-level model.
Expected launch date and pricing in India
Samsung is widely expected to unveil the fold 7 ultra at the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and possibly July 4, 2025 at its Galaxy Unpacked event. For pricing, industry sources indicated that the Galaxy Z fold Rs 7,64,999 for Rs 7. The fan edition flip, if launched, will significantly reduce both, which positions Samsung to capture a wider slices of the market.
