Actor Anupam Kher was always shocked despite following the platform rules, after being locked by his X account. Once his account was restored, Kher addressed X owner Elon Musk in a brief note, with the reason behind the lock.

The 69 -year -old actor shared a screenshot of his X handle when locked. A part of it was read, “Your account has been closed as X has received an obedient Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice for the material posted in your X account.”

“Under DMCA, the copyright owner can inform the X claiming that a user has violated his copyright functions. When receiving a valid DMCA notice, X will remove the identity identified,” also said.

Sharing the post, Kher wrote, “Dear X! Even though my account has been restored, I was surprised to see the lock. I have been on this stage since September 2007. Always has been in mind about the rules of #X (East Twitter) or any social media copyright rules for that case. So it was found a little absurd. Would you like to know that there is a violation of my rules violating your rules? Thank you! @Lonmusk, (SIC). ,
