A funny conversation video between Anupam Kher and Mahesh Bhatt is grabbing the attention of fans on social media. In this clip from an event, Anupam is seen expressing his deep respect and admiration for the filmmaker. At one point, he expressed his respect by giving Mahesh Bhatt a ‘gurudakshina’ of Rs 300.

Anupam recalled how Mahesh Bhatt played a key role in his career by casting him in ‘Saaransh’ in 1984, which was a huge success for him. He then took out Rs 300 from his pocket to give it to the director.

He humbly said, “It is not possible to give Guru Dakshina in one life(It is impossible to repay in one lifetime). He then revealed that upon reaching the venue for the press meet, Mahesh Bhatt requested to express his gratitude right there, and Anupam could only pay Rs 300.

The heartwarming moment took place at the launch of his film ‘Tumko Meri Kasam’ which will be presented by the veteran filmmaker.

Later, speaking to ETimes, Mahesh Bhatt said, “It was a truly memorable day with Anupam Kher, my disciple who started his journey with Saaransh and has now done over 540 films but is still defined by the enduring classic that we created together.”
