Ankhon Ki tells the story of Gustakhyan Saba (Shanaya Kapoor) and Jahn (Vikrant Massey). They meet in a train in Dehradun. Saba is a famous theater artist. She rides in the train, blindfolded, naturally prepares for the audition of a film, where the hero is a blind girl, who is in the hill city of Musori. The reason for riding in Dehradun train is to seek inspiration in Moussi for his next music album.
Seemetli Blind Jahn helps Saba to experience the world through its other senses. Once he does not reveal Saba that he is blind. When Saba struggles to find a hotel for herself in Masuri, she goes to Jahn’s house. They grow closer and develop emotions. But the jahan mysteriously leaves the day when Saba is ready to remove his blindfold.

What works for ankhon ki gustaakhiyan
Ankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan shines in his scenes. The beautiful beauty of Mussoorie is beautifully caught. Cinematography makes every frame feel alive. Music is another attraction. Songs like Nazara and Alvida are intimate and remain with you. Playback songs with cover versions of playback songs sung by Vishal Mishra, mix well with the story.
The performance seems real, even if they have a lack of polish. The chemistry between Saba and Jahan leads an innocent attraction. The film’s effort to find out a unique relationship between a blind person and someone temporarily experience blindness is commendable.
What is not the work
Ankhon Ki The biggest issue of Gustakhyayan is its length. It seems unnecessarily spread and dragged. The screenplay is monotonous and inferior. The story is to attract attention. This does not do anything new to the romance style.
The second half changes highly dramatically, Clich bends in film moments. This change removes the reality created quickly. The story lacks spanka, and major plot points feel underdeveloped. The emotional depth promised by Aadhaar is not completely land, causing the audience disconnect. A strict script and sharper editing could make a big difference.

Ankhon Ki Performance in Gustkhyana
Shanaya Kapoor, in her debut, is good with emotional scenes. She brings vulnerability to Saba. However, more refinement is required to feel its performance constantly. Vikrant Massey in the form of jahan is as reliable as usual. He portrays the calm strength and easily hidden pain of the character. Zain Khan Durrani, who played Abhinav, gave a mature performance. Their role, although quite small, adds a layer of intrigue. The supporting artist performs well but does not leave a permanent effect.
Final decision
Ankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan has a promising basis, but decreases in execution. Views and music are good and performing, especially from Shanaya and Vikrant, show heart. However, the film’s long runtime and dull script make it a tedious watch. The story begins with capacity, but loses its way to never get it back again.
