Anil Kapoor beaming with pride, sends birthday note to son Harsh: Your journey is unique
Anil Kapoor wished son Harsh Vardhan Kapoor on his birthday with an emotional post and praised his personality and courage to follow his own path.
Veteran actor Anil Kapoor wished his son Harsh Vardhan Kapoor a warm birthday through a touching social media post, highlighting his pride in his son’s personality and artistic journey. In his note, Anil reflected on Harsh Vardhan’s strength, conviction and determination to make his mark in the film industry, and lauded him for choosing an unconventional path inspired by honesty and courage.
The veteran actor posted on Instagram, “Happy Birthday, Harsh! Every year, I see your strength, conviction and personality shine more and more.” Praising his son’s courage and determination, he said, “You have never taken the easy path; you have chosen your own path with courage and confidence. And every time I see you pursuing what you love, it fills me with pride. Keep following that instinct, that honesty, that’s what makes your journey so special. @harshvarrdhankapoor.”
Harsh Vardhan, who made his debut with ‘Mirzya’ and later starred in ‘Thar’, has often been praised for choosing unconventional roles and carving out a niche for himself apart from mainstream cinema.
For those unfamiliar, Anil Kapoor married Sunita Bhavnani, a renowned costume designer, in 1984. The couple has three children – Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor and Harsh Vardhan Kapoor.
On the work front, Anil Kapoor recently completed dubbing for his much-awaited action drama ‘Subedaar’ directed by Suresh Triveni. The director shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the dubbing studio with Anil and Saurabh Sachdeva, and captioned it “Film School”. The ‘Animal’ actor re-shared it with the note, “Dubbing finished.”
‘Subedaar’ is the emotional journey of Arjun Singh, an ex-serviceman, who struggles to adjust to civilian life while mending his strained relationship with his daughter Shyama (played by Radhikka Madan). Co-produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni, the film will premiere on Prime Video.
Anil Kapoor’s upcoming projects also include ‘Alpha’ directed by Shiv Rawail, where he will share the screen with Alia Bhatt as part of YRF’s espionage universe.
