Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will not be appearing together at the upcoming Venice Film Festival, the annual event’s artistic director Alberto Barbera told Vanity Fair. Both Jolie and Pitt’s respective films, Maria and the Wolfs, are set to have their world premieres at this year’s showcase.
When asked if there was a chance the famous exes would see each other at the star-studded event, Barbara revealed there would be a time gap between their arrivals. “Angelina will arrive the first day, Thursday (August) 29, and right after that (Maria will leave to attend the Telluride Film Festival with director) Pablo Larrain,” she said. “Brad will be in Venice on Saturday.”
“There’s no way they’ll ever come face-to-face at the Lido,” Barbera said, referring to Brangelina.
