The style starring Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, and Karisma Kapoor has been re -released in theaters. Built by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by late Vinay Sinha, Panth Classic is once again winning heart everywhere. Connecting a complicated rear scenes, fashion designer Ashley Rebello recently shared that Karisma Kapoor would secretly spy on Tandon’s outfits during shooting as he was very surprising.
Today, in a recent conversation with India Today, Endz Apna’s costume designer Ashley Rebello opened to work with the film’s late producer, Vinay Sinha, described him as an extraordinary and supportive person.
He also talked about the creative process and shared that close coordination was needed between the producer, director and a large artist contingent. The designer further stated that one of her first tasks for the film was designing a nightgown for Raveena Tandon, which was for Yeh Raat Ar Yeh Duri, and she made several versions of the organization to match the developed scenes throughout the night.
Ashley also shared a funny memory of how Karisma Kapoor spied on his own set on Raveena Tandon’s outfits. At that time, he did not know Karisma personally, although he later collaborated in many films.
He said, “So, she used to send someone or the other to see what Raveena wore. Obviously, Raveena’s look was stunning that night. Raveena is a very attractive girl, and I think it was a yellow nightgown that she wore in that song.”
Ashley Rebello continued that the outfit led Karisma to a request to make something similar for herself. He remembered the experience, called it ‘so fun’.
Asked how he would design iconic immortal and love costumes for today’s audience, the film’s costume designer mentioned that he would not change much. With trends such as loose jeans and sweatshirts, he will only adjust the characters to cool and more contemporary to adjust the color palette and fit, while still maintains its signature T-shirt-and-jeans look.
