As Sunny Deol On April 10, Jat is gearing up for the release of Jat, the actor entered a special conversation with us in Pinkvilla Masterclass. When asked to comment on the challenges of shooting for a technically advanced film like Ramayana, the actor replied that it is always a challenge for the audience to bring the director’s vision to the audience.
“The job of an actor is to perform and get excited with the character. As an actor, you have to believe in the director. Technology has now come up so well that it assures you. I remember that it is being taken by Superman. Now, technology in India is getting better.
“I am very excited about the Ramayana, because Namit (Malhotra, DNEG) is doing this and he is currently holding special influence companies around the world. He is doing a great job and is the right person to make Ramayana. He wants to make it (film) confident, because he has considered it for years.
Sunny also opened about the challenges of playing the role of Lord Hanuman under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari, which hits the big screen during the Diwali 2026 weekend. He said, “We are an actor and are doing our best. Hanuman ji is going to be difficult to play, because no one wants to do anything wrong.” And when does he start shooting for his share in Ramayana? “I can’t talk all this,” he concluded.
