Ananya Panday says ‘half-heartedness’ doesn’t work for her in a relationship; ‘You have to show loyalty and respect’

There has been a lot of discussion about Ananya Pandey’s relationships, although she never accepted it openly. Recently, the actress said that half-heartedness doesn’t work for her as one has to show loyalty and respect.

Speaking to Raj Shamani on his podcast, Ananya Panday said that she doesn’t see any warnings immediately when she gets into a relationship with someone. Only when they walk out of a relationship do they realize that it could have been better.

Talking about herself she said that if she is in a relationship she will do everything to try and resolve it. According to the CTRL actress, she looks for the best in people, does her best and gives her all in a relationship. Having said that, she expects the same from her partner.

“For me, half-heartedness doesn’t work. If you are in a relationship, you have to show loyalty and respect,” said the young star. Pandey also admitted that initially she completely changed herself in her previous relationships to impress her partner, without realizing how much was too much.

In the same conversation, the Call Me Bae actress also talked about her thoughts about romance and her ideal partner. He expressed that it is someone who listens to him, remembers what he likes and dislikes and later works on it. “It’s important to remember the little things,” he said. Furthermore, support is also very important.

Chunky Pandey’s daughter further said that sometimes it becomes intimidating for men to even understand the fact that she is a young and successful actress. Talking about red flags she said that gaslighting is one of them followed by manipulation.

Other things she cannot tolerate are infidelity and small things like not acknowledging and disrespecting your partner in public. He concluded, “Another red flag would be ego, such as not being able to see your partner succeed.” Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya will be next seen in Shankara.
