Actress Ananya Panday, who has had a successful year with three releases, recently addressed the perception of Karan Johar being overly ‘protective’ towards his star kids. While many believe that he protects her from criticism, Pandey refutes this notion, saying that Johar is actually the first person to burst her bubble.

During a recent conversation with YouTuber Raj Shamani for his podcast, Ananya Panday said, “He (Karan Johar) is very understanding and very open, and he doesn’t want to protect himself, so I don’t think he will. Would want that for someone.” Of us, you know. He wants us to be out in the real world and get as much exposure as possible.”

During the conversation, he was also asked whether Karan had created a protective bubble around him. “Absolutely not. He’s the first one to burst the bubble. Instead of feeding us, that this has to be done, that has to be done (Asking us to do this or that), he is just there as a strong pillar of support”, she replied.

During this interview, Ananya Pandey also addressed the tag of ‘Star Kid’. He said, “People have made it (star kid) a bad word. And I don’t think it’s a bad word. People have made you aware. When you are watching something on the screen, you feel like We do, ‘Hey, this is his daughter (Oh, she is this star’s daughter).’ It is not necessary that this happens. People should just go in and think about what they want to do. And they think about what they have to do.”
