Actress Ananya Panday is all set to make her OTT debut with the Prime Video series ‘Call Me Bae’. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, when asked if she has developed any defense mechanism to deal with criticism, Ananya said that she gives a lot of importance to people’s opinion when it comes to work.

When asked if she has developed any defense mechanisms to deal with criticism, Ananya said, “When it comes to my work, no. I think that’s what I am going through right now, given the kind of work I do. I put myself at a great risk, I take risks and do something different, so my self-worth depends a lot on people’s opinions and criticism. Their feedback means a lot to me, especially when it comes to my work.”

However, she underlined the fact that her response to the criticism is limited to her work and not her personal life. “But everything else, I am not listening to (people’s opinions) right now,” she said.
