Radhika Opt’s ‘Sister Midnight’ is finally set to release in India. The BAFTA-Namikar film also marks his return to the big screen after a brief interval. In a special conversation with India today, the actor addressed the recent rumors, which connects him to an upcoming film directed by Puri Jagannadh, allegedly Vijay Sethupathi and Tabu’s co-conclusion.

“There is a project that I am trying to do with Vikram, something that I can direct. But ‘Kuta’ is just something we are discussing – a story – and news came out, but it’s something that we can do,” he clarified. “There is also another film that I can do. But, at the moment, both these films like a lot, it is not very clear for us that I was a little surprised by the news coming in this way.”

Meanwhile, his upcoming film, ‘Sister Midnight’, is directed by Karan Kandhari. The film follows a black comedy set in Mumbai, Uma, a new married woman, navigating the complications of a systematic marriage. Apte described the film as “a very crazy film. A wild ride. It’s strange and opposite what I have done before.”
