Prithviraj Sukumaran currently fulfilled his hands, courtesy of enthusiasm for his next direction enterprise, L2: Empuraan. Starring Mohanlal in the lead, the film is the sequel to the 2019 hit Malayalam thriller Lucifer. Recently, the filmmaker opened about some major aspects that add both films.
In a special interview with Pinkvilla, Prithviraj discussed how both Lucifer and L2: Emperan start with chaos, in which the hero is introduced later.
Actor-turn-Filmekar admitted that, while this approach is unusual in most films, it eventually depends on the director’s vision and how they choose to move forward with storytelling.

In addition, he provided an example of what he believes the biggest superhero film, where a similar pattern is followed. Prithviraj cited Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Night Series, where the hero is not always shown before, but is still an integral part of the scene.
Prithviraj explained, “You never feel really that you are not looking at the hero. Because the whole film creates an atmosphere or aura around you, even without a central character, who tells you that you are really looking at him, even if you are not watching him.”
He mentioned that both Lucifer and L2: Both of them take inspiration from the technique of storytelling.
Continuing his explanation, Prithviraj said, “… which Murali Gopi, my writer, has tried to do with Lucifer Part 1. A lot, even in Part 2, the film starts in the middle of the chaos, and soon, you realize that this chaos can be decided with a man or a man can be resumed with a man.
For Anward, L2: Empuraan is set to release worldwide on 27 March 2025.
