Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding: Venue of mass wedding hosted by Nita-Mukesh Ambani changed to Thane

The countdown to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding has begun. After organising two grand pre-wedding ceremonies, both the families are finally preparing for the wedding of the lovebirds.

But before their big day, billionaire couple Nita and Mukesh Ambani have decided to organise a mass wedding for the underprivileged. The event, which was earlier scheduled to take place in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, will now be held at a new location. Read on for more details!

Venue of mass wedding function organised by Ambani family shifted to Thane

Ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding on July 12, the groom’s parents, Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani, decided to organise a mass wedding for the underprivileged. According to the event invitation that went viral earlier, it was to take place on July 2, 2024 (Tuesday) at 4:30 pm at Swami Vivekananda Vidyamandir in Wada, Palghar district.

However, according to a report in India Today, the mass wedding will now take place on the same date at 4 pm at Reliance Corporate Park in Thane.

The Ambani family kicked off the wedding festivities of the soon-to-be-wed couple by organising a Diksha Puja ceremony at their Mumbai residence Antilia on June 29. Anant is going to personally invite some of the big names of Bollywood such as Ajay Devgn-Kajol and Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna.

After his mother Nita Ambani visited Varanasi to give the first wedding invitation to the lord, the groom recently did the same at the Krishna Kali temple in Neral. His sister Isha Ambani and he also offered prayers at the temple. Talking about their wedding, their ‘shubh vivah’ will take place on July 12 at Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

The next day, on July 13, the ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ ceremony will be held, for which guests have been requested to come in Indian formal attire. On the last day of the celebrations, i.e. July 14, the ‘Mangal Utsav’ (wedding reception) will be held, for which the dress code is Indian chic. According to reports, a sangeet ceremony will also be held in July at the Grand Theatre of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
