Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to get married in the month of July. The pre-wedding festivities have begun in full swing. Yesterday, on July 3, the Mameru/Mauslu ceremony took place for which the bride-to-be wore a beautiful lehenga and stunning accessories. A special thing about her jewellery was that it was the same one her mother wore on her mauslu.

Yesterday, July 3, Radhika Merchant’s style team shared the details behind her look for her Mausalu. For the occasion, Radhika wore a pink and orange bandhani lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra. Her stunning jewellery included a choker necklace, a statement maang tikka and earrings, all of which were gold. Her bangles were orange and golden, with her ponytail also adorned with golden accessories.
The stylist said that Radhika wore the same jewellery that her mother wore in Mausalu, which made her look even more special.
Mameru/Mausalu is a traditional ritual in Gujarati wedding in which the bride’s maternal uncle and her aunt’s husband gift her saree, jewelry, bangles, sweets, dry fruits etc. before the wedding.
Apart from the Ambani and Merchant families, Bollywood celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, her alleged boyfriend Shikhar Pahadia and Manushi Chillar also attended the ceremony.

Earlier, the much-awaited wedding schedule of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant surfaced on the internet. As per the schedule, the couple will tie the knot on July 12. The auspicious wedding will have Indian traditional dress code.
The Shubh Ashirwad (divine blessing) will be held on July 13, where guests are expected to arrive in Indian formal attire, and will conclude with the Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) on July 14, where the dress code is Indian chic. The venue for all these grand events is Jio World Centre in Mumbai.
It is reported that the music festival will be held on July 5, in which many international artists will perform on stage.
