Jennifer Garner became one of the many celebrities who have come forward to help the many families affected by the massive Los Angeles wildfires. However, the Electra actress was seen getting very emotional while talking about a friend whom she lost in the wildfire.

According to Jennifer Garner, the destruction that left many people homeless left her heartbroken. On January 10, 2025, the actress opened up about her feelings while speaking to MSNBC.

The 13 Going on 30 actress was spotted with World Central Kitchen chef Jose Andres as both helped those affected by the Palisades and Eaton fires.

“I’ve lost a friend, and for our church, it’s really tender, so I don’t think we should be talking about it right now,” said Jennifer Garner, her voice cracking.

Speaking to the outlet, Garner confirmed that she has lost a friend. The Pearl Harbor actress was seen helping Andres as a volunteer at one of his many pop-up locations in Los Angeles County.

The two were reportedly feeding food to evacuees who had to flee after the forest fire. Speaking to the outlet, Jennifer Garner said that her heart goes out to her friends.

“I can think of 100 families, and there are 5,000 homes lost. “I could list 100 friends without thinking who have lost their homes,” Starr said.

Garner was then seen praising Andres, 55, for his mission to serve a larger community through World Central Kitchen.
