Grand Master Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa has made India proud. 18-year-old Praggnanandhaa has become the second Indian after Vishwanathan Anand to reach the final of the FIDE World Cup held in Baku, Azerbaijan. He played against world number one Magnus Carlsen. Even though Praggnanandhaa may have missed out on becoming the youngest Chess World Cup champion, the Indian talent has caught the attention of the chess world with his remarkable skills.
Tears of joy rolled down his mother Nagalakshmi’s face as her son created history. Several photos capturing the emotional moment gained immense popularity on the internet. In a photo widely circulated on social media, Nagalakshmi is seen smiling and praising her son, who was giving an interview. In another photo, she was seen with tears of joy. People lauded Nagalakshmi for being a strong pillar of support behind Praggnanandhaa.

While the internet can’t stop praising R. Praggnanandhaa for her achievements, Amul did something special to honour her mother with their new topical.

His mother is seen standing next to him. Amul’s words above the poster read, “Grand Ma ster!” and below “Bonafide Taste!”. In its caption, the Indian dairy brand wrote, “#Amul Topical: R. Praggnanandhaa’s mother silently contributes to his success in chess.”
Instagrammers too chimed in with the wordplay for Amul’s Tropical. One of them commented: “Master now satisfied with your thoughtful and unique content (just from day one).” While some called Amul’s Tropical a “great illustration”, a user called it “so funny”.

Amul always seizes the opportunity to celebrate India’s major achievements through its creative posters. A few days ago, when India’s Chandrayaan 3 successfully landed on the moon, Amul dedicated a poster to honour ISRO’s efforts and the historic achievement. Their animated post featured Amul’s mascot in an astronaut’s attire, standing next to Chandrayaan 1 holding a victory flag. For those who don’t know, Chandrayaan 1 was India’s first lunar mission in 2008. At the top of the poster, it read, “Chaar Chaand Lag Gaye!” and at the bottom, they wrote, “Amul on the moon.” “We thank the ISRO team for their continued service in taking India to new heights. #Chandrayaan3,” Amul captioned the post.
