In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, actor Amitabh Bachchan praised the Pushpa 2 actor’s talent and urged a contestant not to compare him with Telugu star Allu Arjun. He also encouraged the audience to watch Pushpa 2: The Rule, if they haven’t seen it yet.

During the episode, Rajni Barniwal, a housewife from Kolkata, mentioned her admiration for both Amitabh and Allu Arjun. When Amitabh teased him about his fondness for Arjun, he replied, “Sir, I am a fan of both Allu Arjun and you.” Amitabh replied jokingly, ‘Adding my name is not going to make any difference.’

He praised Arjun, saying, “Allu Arjun is an incredibly talented actor, and he deserves the recognition he has received. I am also a big fan of his. Recently his film (Pushpa 2: The Rule) has been released and if you have not seen it yet then you should watch it. But don’t compare me with them.”

However, Rajini insisted that the two actors have similarities. When asked to elaborate, she said, “You both have incredible entrances, and your styles are very similar. When you do comedy scenes, both of you bite your collar and blink your eyes.

Amitabh, amused, asked him to name a film in which he displayed such behaviour. Rajini cited his 1977 classic Amar Akbar Anthony. He further added, “There is another similarity between you both – you both have a certain richness in your voices. My dream has come true by meeting you; Now I just want to meet Allu Arjun.”

During the promotion of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun was asked which Bollywood actor inspires you the most. He said, “Amitabh ji inspires me the most. I like Amitabh Bachchan the most because we have grown up watching his films. As we grew up, he had a great influence on us. So if I have to say it in one word, I would say that I am a big fan of Amitabh ji.

The senior actor thanked the Pushpa 2 actor for his kind words and praised his work.
