In the video, Amitabh Bachchan said, “I am here today to express my gratitude to all the wonderful people who have contributed to the making of our recently released film ‘Kalki’ and given it the appreciation, love and affection it deserves now, which is over Rs 1000 crore. It is a great effort and faith of the makers of Vaijanti Films, the people who have been behind it, my respect to Ashwini Dutt (producer), Priyanka and Swapna ji, who believed that something like this could actually happen.”

He further added, “And of course, thank you to Nagi (Nag Ashwin) for his extraordinary vision of ‘Kalki’. I would also like to express my gratitude and thankfulness for the honour of being with my co-stars who had and still have a great presence in the film industry – Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika (Padukone), and all the actors and actresses who have taken part in this important occasion.”

He further added, “I would like to thank and congratulate the huge crew, Santosh ji’s music, the editing team, George and his assistants’ camera work and years of dedicated work which has resulted in the success that I have today with ‘Kalki’. This is no mean feat. For Prabhas, this might be a normal thing as many of his films have crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark. But for me, I am truly indebted and very grateful to be a part of this huge concept called ‘Kalki’.”

Big B said, “I literally cannot put into words how much I enjoyed the film. And for those of you who don’t know, I have seen the film four times. I invited some of my guests and went to the theatre four times to get the best of the film. And each time I found something new, something that I might have missed the first time I saw it.”

He also added, “For me, this film is not just an actor’s work. For me, it is a great education of our culture, Indian mythology and how beautifully Nagi has presented all of this as a film, a story, making it so believable that it is getting so much support and love from all you wonderful people.”

He said, “There is one more part to complete the film, and I am eagerly waiting to be invited to be a part of it. But I express my gratitude to all of you who have contributed to making this film such a huge success all over the world. I am grateful to God for making me a part of this venture. And I hope that the success of this film will continue to grow in the days and years to come. My heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to all of you who contributed to making this film,” he concluded.
