True son of India is no more: Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth pay tribute to Ratan Tata
Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth paid emotional tribute to industrialist Ratan Tata. The business tycoon died on Wednesday night, October 10, after a prolonged illness.

Megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth condoled the demise of industrialist Ratan Tata. Amitabh recalled the time when he spent some wonderful moments with the business tycoon during several campaigns. Rajinikanth, on the other hand, praised him, calling him a person who ‘inspired thousands of industrialists.’
Paying tribute to Ratan on X, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Just got the news of Shri Ratan Tata’s demise… was working very late. An era of a highly respected, humble but visionary leader with foresight and determination has come to an end. Spent some wonderful moments with him, during the many expeditions we were involved in together. My prayers (sic).”

Rajinikanth shared a throwback picture with the industrialist and wrote, “A great veteran icon who put India on the global map with his vision and passion. The man who inspired thousands of industrialists. The man who created millions of jobs for many generations. The man whom everyone loved and respected. My hearty greetings to him. I will always remember every moment I spent with this great soul, the true son of India is no more. Rest in peace (sic).”

Ratan Tata’s mortal remains have been kept at the National Center for Performing Arts. (NCPA) to pay tribute to the people at Nariman Point in South Mumbai. His mortal remains will be taken to Worli crematorium for cremation at around 3.30 pm. Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended Ratan Tata’s funeral From the center. Union Minister Piyush Goyal and other ministers and top businessmen like Ambani were present at the spot.
