Amitabh Bachchan, who has worked with Deepika Padukone in ‘Piku’ and now ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, in a heartwarming gesture helped her get on stage at the film’s pre-release event in Mumbai. Deepika is pregnant with her first child.

Deepika, who is currently in her second trimester, showed off her baby bump in a black bodycon gown at the press conference. While climbing up to the stage, Amitabh Bachchan extended his hand to help her climb up to the stage.

She said, “It was an incredible experience, a great learning experience. It was a completely new world and I think we went through different phases to figure out what the film was about. It was an incredible experience on both personal and professional levels.”
