Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his daily blog post that he did not watch the India vs South Africa T20 World Cup final on June 29. The ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ actor also shared the reason behind it. He wrote that whenever he watches a match, India loses. Later, after our glorious win, the veteran actor congratulated Team India on X.
Big B expressed his happiness and excitement over Team India’s win in the T20 World Cup final against South Africa in his blog. However, he mentioned that he did not watch the match last night. Explaining the reason, he wrote, “The excitement, emotions and apprehensions all took over and were not shown on TV. When I lose we lose! Nothing else comes to mind, just tears flowing with the tears of the team!”
However, after India won the ICC trophy, Bachchan wrote on X, “Tears are flowing…with Team India.”

The previous win came in 2007 under MS Dhoni. The win also ended India’s 11-year wait for an ICC title, their last major triumph being the Champions Trophy in 2013.
