Actor Amitabh Bachchan expressed his happiness on social media and said that he did not watch the match. He explained the reason behind this and also told about his emotional state.

Soon after India won the 2024 World Cup, Amitabh Bachchan shared his feelings on his blog on Tumblr. He revealed that he did not watch the match between India and South Africa because he believes that the team loses when they do so.
The post read, “World champions…INDIA!!! T20 World Cup..2024.. the excitement and emotions and apprehensions..all done and over..not seen on TV..when I lose we lose..! Nothing more comes to mind..only tears in line with the tears of the team!”
Big B also showered love on the team on Twitter. He wrote, “T 5057 – Tears are flowing… With the tears of Team India… World champions India. Bharat Mata ki Jai. Jai Hind. Jai Hind. Jai Hind.”
