Amaran box office day 19: Sivakarthikeyan film crosses Rs 300 crore mark globally

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Amaran has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide. The film is running successfully in theaters even in its third week.

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Amaran, which is successfully running in its third week, has entered the coveted Rs 300 crore club in 19 days. It is the highest grossing film of Sivakarthikeyan’s career. Several theater chains in Chennai and Tamil Nadu shared posts on Twitter claiming that many shows are running housefull in the third week. Amaran was released in theaters on 31 October on the occasion of Diwali.

Amaran is emerging as one of the biggest hit films of 2024. The film grossed over Rs 300 crore worldwide and is still going strong.

After a phenomenal third weekend at the theatres, Amraan saw a decline in numbers on its third Monday at the theatres. According to tracking website SacnilkOn 18 November, the film grossed approximately Rs 2.50 crore in India. The total collection of Amraan for 19 days is now Rs 192.10 crore.

It is expected that Amaran will earn more than Rs 200 crore in India within a few days.

The biographical war film is an adaptation of Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book series, India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. A chapter in one of the three books details a mission undertaken by Major Mukund Varadarajan.

Jointly produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Sreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Geetha Kailasam, Umair Ibn Latif and many more.
