Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Amaran collected Rs 11 crore in Tamil Nadu on second Saturday (November 9). The biographical film earned Rs 5.50 crore on its second Friday (November 8). It collected Rs 89 crore in its extended first week of release in the home state. Its earnings on the tenth day have helped it cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the ticket window. The total collection of this film, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, has now reached Rs 105.5 crore in 10 days.

Amran joins Rs 200 crore club worldwide
On the tenth day of release, Amaran also entered the Rs 200 crore club worldwide at the box office. Apart from earning Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu, the Sivakarthikeyan starrer earned over Rs 100 crore from other Indian states and overseas. Iamaaran is the biggest hit of Sivakarthikeyan’s career so far.
