Amanda Safrid accused of paramount due to her money for Meen Girls Merchandise
Actor Amanda Seffreid has revealed that she has not received royalty from Paramount Pictures for Meen Girls Merchandise, which is characterized by her image. The issue extends to members of other artists, which raises concerns about unpaid income from the popular 2004 teenage film.

Amanda Safrid, an American actor and singer, accused Paramount Pictures (Film Production and Distribution Company) not to pay his royalty for ‘Meen Girls Merchandise’. She said that she was 17 years old when she did the film and now enjoys seeing her face on people’s T-shirts. During the interview, Body asked Seffreed if she had seen the 2004 teenage classic, ‘Meen Girls’ again. He said, “No, I have not done. It is often enough. You know what, I love it. I really love seeing my face on people’s T-shirts.
Moving forward, he said, “I mean, I am a little angry, because Paramount still gives me some money. Every store ‘sells girls’ T-shirts with our pictures.”
Seffreed himself questioned and said, “I don’t know what was this because I was 17 years old and dumb or what was.” It talked about Cefrid, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAidams and Lacey Chaber, who were not receiving royalty for the goods of the comedy film.
However, ‘Mamma Mia’ actor said that she loves seeing her face on T-shirt. “I love it. Just as TSA girl also said, ‘Meen Girls, My Favorite Film’. And I like, ‘Wait I was 17 years old. I had nothing to do with it.”
Paramount Pictures has not yet reacted to the claims of Amanda Safrid.
The 2004 Kishore Comedy, “Meen Girls” was directed by Mark Waters and written by Tina Fay. The film was equally liked by critics and audiences. It eventually won several awards and praise. In 2011, a sequel was premiered on the ABC family and was also adapted to a stage music. A film adaptation of ‘Meen Girls’ hit cinemas in 2024.
