Amala Akkineni opens up on her relationship with stepson Naga Chaitanya: ‘I actually knew him in Hyderabad’

Actor-activist Amala Akkineni has shared new insights into her relationship with her stepson Naga Chaitanya, revealing how their relationship changed over time. In a recent conversation on NTV’s podcast, he explained that their bond was not formed during their childhood, but developed later, when he became a young adult.

Amala said that she really got to know Naga Chaitanya only after he changed cities. She shared, “Chaitanya was a young man when I really knew him because his mother lived in Chennai. He grew up there. He came to Hyderabad only for college. Of course, I was in touch with him a lot, but I really knew him when he moved to Hyderabad.” He said distance and different homes played a role in the early years, but things changed when he started living closer to family in Hyderabad.

What did Amala Akkineni say about Naga Chaitanya?

Talking about his personality, Amala praised Naga Chaitanya’s temperament and maturity. She said, “A lovely human being. He has maturity and wisdom beyond his age. Very responsible. He is someone who has never made a mistake and has always listened to his father. So, he always had his own plans and ideas.”

The actor-activist also said that his experience with his biological son Akhil Akkineni was very different. He told that since Akhil is his son, he has more influence on him.
