Alia Bhatt trained for almost four months for Alpha

After the immense success of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone, Alia Bhatt has taken on Jigra as an actor and producer. As her upcoming film is in the post-production stage, the actress has begun filming for another action thriller, Alpha.

Earlier, on July 10, the team shared the announcement video, leaving her fans excited for the mass entertainer. According to a Hindustan Times report, the National Award-winning actress trained for four months before starting the shoot of the YRF Spy Universe film on July 5.

A source close to the development told the publication that Alpha features Alia in a never-seen-before avatar. The source added that she has trained for almost four months to prepare herself to play the role of a super agent. Also, the actress has five to six major action sequences in the film, and hence, she needs to be in her best shape. “Alia has pushed her body to the breaking point as she has to look ruthless on screen,” the source added.

Alia Bhatt spotted shooting for Alpha in Mumbai

Before the team released their announcement video, Alia was spotted in the city starting the shoot of Shiv Rawail’s action-thriller. In the first photo of the actress from the sets of the film, the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actress is seen wearing a white sweatshirt paired with dark blue joggers.

Without makeup and with her hair tied in a bun, Alia was walking towards her vanity van holding a sipper in her hand. This film is Alia and Sharvari’s first female-led film.
