Telugu superstar Allu Arjun on Sunday issued a new statement urging his fans to desist from ‘abusive’ behaviour. This comes after fresh allegations from Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy regarding the incidents that took place during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theater on December 4. Arjun warned individuals misrepresenting themselves to his fans with fake IDs that strict action will be taken against them. If he participated in such conduct. Allu Arjun’s team shared the statement on social media. It read, “I appeal to all my fans, as always, to express their feelings responsibly and not to resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline.”

The development comes after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Akbaruddin Owaisi discussed the Pushpa 2 premiere incident in the Telangana Assembly. Owaisi’s allegation, Arjun had said ‘the film will be a hit’ upon receiving information about the death of a fan, while Reddy claimed that the police informed him of the death while he was in the theatre. Arjun said in his press conference last night, He claimed that he came to know about the incident only the day after the premiere on 4 December.
On December 4, Arjun attended the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad with his family and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. He left the show prematurely, saying that his management had informed him that the crowd was becoming unruly. The attack led to a stampede-like situation, resulting in the death of a woman and her young son being admitted to hospital in a critical condition.
