Actress Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma recently shared a social media post on the completion of two years of their dark comedy film ‘Darlings’, which was released on Netflix on August 5, 2022. The lead cast of the film included Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma, Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew.

To celebrate the occasion, Alia Bhatt’s production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, shared a heartwarming video on Instagram. The video showcases memorable moments from the film’s journey, including behind-the-scenes footage, the wrap party, and promotional events. The video read, “Celebrating 2 years of Darlings” and the caption read, “Masti douba, pyaar douba. Happy two darlings.”

Alia Bhatt and Vijay Varma re-shared the post on their Instagram stories. Vijay Varma wrote, “2 years of my favourite team, Darlings” and tagged Alia, Shefali Shah, Roshan Mathew and director Jasmeet K Reen.

In 2021, Alia had shared a post expressing her happiness as the film’s production began. She mentioned in a post, “Day one of Darlings! My first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first and always (a very nervous actor in this case) (sic).”

Alia Bhatt is all set to release her second film as a producer, ‘Jigra’, directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Eternal Sunshine Productions and Dharma Productions. The film will release on October 11, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the lead roles.
