Director Vasan Bala and actor Alia Bhatt recently shared their thoughts on their upcoming film Jigra. Vasan shared how Karan Johar sent an unedited version of the script to Alia, and Alia also revealed how she was impressed by the story and wanted to be a part of the film.

In a recent interview, director Vasan Bala and actor Alia Bhatt shared insights about their upcoming film Jigra, an action-packed story centered around a prison break. The duo also revealed that even though Karan Johar had sent Alia a rough version of the first part of the script, Alia was interested in the story and wanted to read the second part as well.
During conversation with Anmol Jamwal Tried and rejected presentationsAlia Bhatt revealed her initial reaction to the project and said, “Wow. I wasn’t expecting it, I guess because he didn’t reveal much in the meeting. But I was also very intrigued, and I really liked his work. ” I said, ‘It would be nice for us to collaborate, but I need to read the script’ so when they sent me the first part my first reaction was, ‘Where’s the second part?’ Because I said, ‘I don’t feel complete, I need the second part’ I pursued him for a month for the second part, and then it was done.”

Bala recalled the initial emails that sparked the collaboration. He said, “I had sent a very raw email, very stream of consciousness, sent it to Karan. I think six or seven hours later, he called and said, ‘I’ve already sent it to Alia. Has been set on. “I wasn’t really happy with it.”
Bala expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, “I would have at least done some spell checking, grammar checking, cleanliness, written some really good hero entries.” However, Karan reassures them, saying, “That’s how it works.”
Jigra also stars Vedang Raina in the role of Alia’s on-screen brother Ankur. The film centers on Satya (Alia), a devoted sister who is determined to save her brother. Jigra will release in theaters on October 11.
