The British Academy announced its list of presenters on Instagram on 17 February. The list of presenters at this year’s BAFTA ceremony reflects a broad international presence. Global talent including Amy Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, David Johnson, Delroy Lindo, Gillian Anderson, Olivia Cooke and Patrick Dempsey will also take the stage.

As per the official announcement, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. BAFTA nominees including Jordan, Kate Hudson, Miles Caton, Emily Watson and Stellan Skarsgård are also due to present awards.

A further description of the presenters, confirmed by BAFTA, highlights a mix of established stars and emerging talent. Those expected to star include Jacob Elordi, Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, Chloë Zhao, Teyana Taylor, Yorgos Lanthimos, Emma Stone, Benicio del Toro, Jesse Plemons, Odessa A’Zion, Paul Thomas Anderson and Rose Byrne.
Indian representation in BAFTA
Alia’s role as a BAFTA presenter follows in the footsteps of other Indian actors who have graced the ceremony over the years. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was a presenter at the BAFTAs in 2021. Deepika Padukone appeared at the 2024 ceremony. Alia’s participation is considered another milestone for the visibility of Indian cinema at major international awards shows.

Apart from the BAFTA Awards, Alia is currently busy with two major film projects. She is shooting for Yash Raj Films Alpha With Sharvari and Bobby Deol. The film is set for release later this year.
