Alaya Furniturewalla makes the most of her self-care routine with sunsets, workouts and more

If you need some inspiration, her latest Instagram post is here to help you. Recently, the actress shared a post on Instagram, introducing her “recent life”. From working out to eating healthy and watching the beautiful sky, the carousel offers a glimpse of Alaya’s self-care routine. One video shows her performing the scorpion pose (Vrishchikasana) practiced quite skillfully. Posture Strengthens the body, reduces stress, and promotes digestion. Alaya’s healthy regimen also includes journaling, pushups, eating nutritious food, and enjoying serene sunsets on the beach. Glimpses of her gym sessions also appeared in the photo dump, underlining her love for exercise. In one clip, Alaya also performed a set of headstand variations. This aerobic activity improves blood flow, maintains balance, and builds shoulder and arm strength. Alaya’s motivational side note reads, “Finally my feet started touching my head like a scorpion, lots of painful (but beneficial) stretching, setting new goals, eating clean, beautiful visualizations, and positive thoughts.”

Alaya F is a yoga girl and she never fails to impress us. On International Yoga Day, she shared a video on Instagram performing a number of asanas including a headstand, stretching exercises and somersaults. “Yoga has become an integral part of my life and I am so grateful for all the strength, peace and focus it gives me! Whether I’m on vacation, on set or at home, for me, every day is yoga day,” she wrote in the caption. Yoga promotes balance and flexibility, improves posture and enhances mind-body coordination.

Earlier, Alaya had revealed that she was taking a “mental health break” after suffering from burnout. To deal with the stress, she set out on a solo trip in the mountains for “Ayurvedic treatments, Tibetan massages, acupuncture, reflexology, cleansing, meditation, swimming, journaling and reading books”. Oh, she was also on a “digital detox” during the vacation.
