Actor Akshay Oberoi is set to start his south with the much awaited ‘Toxic: A Fareil for Grontups’, with Yash in the lead and directed by Getu Mohandas in the lead. The actor, who is constantly creating a reputation for his fine performances, opened the film’s experience and his praise for his co-star Yash.
“It was amazing,” Akshay said, talking about his experience on ‘toxic’. “Apart from getting a chance to work on such a big film, I really loved working with director Geetu Mohandas. I have also loved his earlier films – ‘Liers Dice’ and ‘Mothon’. I think he is one of my favorite directors with whom I have ever worked. He speaks in ways that no other directors.
A national award -winning was already an attraction while working with the filmmaker, Akshay shared that ‘Toxic’ had the opportunity to cooperate with Yash, the greatest Techway. “The whole world is a fan of fame. While working with him, I learned so much that I realized what I was missing,” Akshay accepted. “I am here that I am talking about wishing the industry, and you pay attention to the questions that I agree. But with that, he is like an united industry. He does not need anyone. He does not need anyone to prove his talent or offer it. He does not need opportunities to prove his talent or offer it. He does not need opportunities; he makes them for himself.
“He is a person, walking, talking,” Akshay said. “When I see him, it is a complete level of his confidence that no one needs. Given that, I was the same, ‘Damn, Akshay, if you can catch this ethos and energy that he does, no one can stop you.” I have really been influenced and inspired by more than one way.
‘Toxic’, which has been postponed as a high-octane action entertainer, has been included in the mystery, but Akshay teased that the fans could expect a lot of surprise. “I think the less I say about this film, the better. It’s so surprising in the film. I really enjoyed my share, and I love to do action, I love it completely. I really enjoyed all that,” he said.
The actor also revealed his enthusiasm for the discovery of more regional cinema after ‘toxic’. “Oh God, please sign me! Even from any of those industries, if you are listening or reading it, please, I would like to do a Malayalam, Telugu, or Tamil film. I love working in the south, and I hope I do more than that part of the country.”
For the challenge of working in a new language, Akshay said that he took it into a straight. “I have a nature and joy for languages and accents. It’s a challenge, of course, but it is a challenge that I really enjoy. It naturally comes naturally to take languages and accents. So I enjoyed the work – it was not stressful, it was fun.”
‘Toxic: A Fairytail for Grontups’ will be a hit in theaters in 2026.
