Actor Akshay Kumar, famous for doing his own courageous stunts, has revealed an unexpected source of inspiration behind his high -octane action sequence – cartoon ‘Tom and Jerry’. Known as Bollywood’s Khildi, Akshay has always impressed the audience with his fearless tricks in films like ‘Blue’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Khiladi’ series.
In a recent interview with PinkvillaThe actor said that many of his action scenes are inspired by cartoon pair Tom and Jerry.
“Do you know where I attract all this inspiration? Whatever stunts I have done, you will not believe it with ‘Tom and Jerry’,” Akshay said. “I love watching ‘Tom and Jerry’, I think it’s the most violent show. It is very violent, even though it is apparently designed for children. Each episode is 10 or 12 minutes long and is full of action. I have taken a lot of inspiration from it.”
