Akshay Kumar confirmed Kesari 2. The film is scheduled to release on 18 April. The sequel can detect the Jalianwala Bagh massacre. It also stars R Madhavan and Ananya Pandey.
Akshay Kumar has officially confirmed the sequel of his 2019 historic film Kesari and has also announced the release date for Kesari 2.
The actor shared a preacher video expressing a glimpse of Kesari 2. The video included the slate, which was read, “A revolution was painted in courage. Kesari Chapter 2.” He also revealed that the teaser of the film would be unveiled on 24 March.
While sharing the video, Akshay wrote on X, “Kuch Ladayan Hathiyron to Nahi Ladi Jati (Some quarrels are not fought with weapons) #Kesarichapter2 teaser out on 24 March. “He also confirmed that the film would be released worldwide on 18 April.
From the teaser, it appears that Kesari Chapter 2 will focus on the untold story of Jalianwala Bagh massacre. Rumors say that sequel barrister C. Shankaran can detect a fight to highlight the truth behind Nair’s 1919 massacre.
Apart from Akshay, R Madhavan and Ananya Pandey will be included in decisive roles in Kesari 2.
Kesari, marked as six years after his release on Friday, told the brave story of 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army, who defended the Sargari against 10,000 Afghan tribals in 1897. Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Isar Singh was widely praised, and the film was appreciated.
