Akhand 2 box office day 3: Balakrishna film earns Rs 60 crore in opening weekend
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhand 2 grossed Rs 60 crore in India in its opening weekend. The film has grossed over Rs 100 crore globally and is expected to continue to do so.

Nandamuri Balarkishan’s recent release Part 2: Thandavam It had a good opening weekend at the domestic box office. While the film has crossed the Rs 60 crore mark (minus gross) in India in three days, it has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark globally and is counting. Its long theatrical innings will be determined by the hold of the film in theaters on weekdays.
According to the tracking website, SacnilkDespite mixed reviews from critics and audiences, the film had a strong performance on Saturday and Sunday. The film collected Rs 15 crore (net) during the weekend. In three days, the film earned a net worth of Rs 61 crore including the paid premiere show on Thursday.

Its Telugu version on 14 December Part 2: Thandavam Overall occupancy was recorded at 51.77 per cent with maximum attendance during the afternoon and evening shows.
An excerpt from India Today’s review Akhand 2 The review said, “The moment Akhand steps in, he is bending guns, blocking helicopter blades with a trident, blowing fifty people away with one punch and reminding you that Indian governance structures don’t matter in this universe. The Prime Minister, the police, RAW, geopolitics, national security – all of these have been politely cast aside because Akhand has arrived.”
Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Part 2: Thandavam is a fantasy action thriller starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in multiple roles. The film also stars Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty and Harshali Malhotra in lead roles.
A sequel to the 2021 film of the same name, the film has music composed by Thaman S, cinematography and editing by C Ramaprasad and Tammiraju respectively.
