Ajit opens about his passion for acting: I have very strong work morality
Actor and racer celebrated Ajit Kumar shared insight on his double passion – acting and racing in a special interview. Recently, Padma Bhushan was awarded, reflecting his journey and future racing plans.

Ajit Kumar is famous for both his acting and racing career. In a special chat with India today, the actor recently opened his deep roots for acting and discipline running it.
Talking openly, he highlighted his strong commitment to work, “Ajit said,” The fact that I have all my hobbies – aermodeling and motor) – because of my profession, this is due to my profession. It rewards me at a point where I think of my passion and I think people like it.
‘Good bad ugly’ actor said, “I say this very often. I have very strong work morality and I do not have to remind me what my responsibilities are. If I need to live in Mumbai for a shoot next month, I can’t need a reminder. I can come there. It is just that I can work with a lot of responsibilities.”

While reflecting his journey, he said, “At a point that I would probably be living a dream, even the full experience of being here and the experience of getting Padma Bhushan. It is real, and I am afraid that someone will wake me up and will get up thinking that all this is a dream.”
Ajit received the prestigious Padma Bhushan from President Draupadi Murmu in New Delhi on Monday (April 28). He admitted that the honor is yet to drown, saying: “I am probably living a dream. I am afraid that someone will wake me up.”
Currently on a break from films, Ajit is dedicating time to his racing career. Earlier this year, he announced that he would not take any new film project during the racing season, which continues till October. So far in 2025, he has competed in three international races and earned two podium finish.
He is ready to return to Europe soon for the next phase of international racing events.
