Ajit Kumar to start AK46 filming in November, Eyes released in mid -2026
Tamil actor Ajit Kumar has confirmed his next film, titled ‘AK46’. In an interview, he shared that he would begin shooting in November 2025.

Tamil actor Ajit Kumar has confirmed his next project, AK46, riding a success wave with his recent film ‘Good Bad Badmore’. In an interview, the superstar revealed that the filming is scheduled to begin in November 2025, with a planned release in April or May 2026.
Talk to Induced by Indian ExpressAjit discussed how he balances his double career in motorsport and acting. He said, “Our racing season in Europe begins in March and ends in October, except except for a one-band race held in Dubai every January.”
He further reported, “If I can manage to fit a film shoot between November and February, I will be able to release a film every year, focusing on my racing schedule. I am starting a new project in this November, which we hope to be released around April or May 2026.”
An official announcement about the details of the much awaited film is still waiting. Earlier this month, Ajit was awarded the Padma Bhushan in Delhi.
On the work front, Ajit was last seen in Adhik Ravichandran’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’, which currently streams on Netflix. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Das in Pivolel roles.
