Earlier, the makers had bankrolled the Jiiva-starrer Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil. The film is a political comedy satire that tells the story of Jeevan Ratnam, the chairman of a village panchayat, who is tasked with ensuring that a marriage ceremony runs smoothly. Although things start off normally, the day takes a drastic turn when the neighbor to the wedding house dies, and the President is expected to fulfill responsibilities there as well.
With both parties refusing to accommodate, Jeevaratnam is forced to balance both events, leaving him trapped in a cycle of chaos. As tensions rise, the Panchayat President finds himself at the center of the unrest, tasked with resolving the impasse and restoring harmony.
Directed by Phalimi fame Nitish Sahdev, the film also featured Prarthana Nathan, Thambi Ramaiah, Anuraj, Ilavarasu, Jensen Dhiwakar, Sarjin Kumar, Jaywant, Rajesh Pandian, Amit Mohan and many others in lead roles. It is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
