Airtel has announced a new offer to its customers across India, which is considered to be perplexity pro subscription plan for a year. Membership, which usually costs Rs 17,000 annually, is now being offered for all Airtel users without any cost, including mobiles, broadbands and DTH services. Customers can claim membership through Airtel thanksgiving app.
The step comes as part of Airtel’s partnership, which is accompanied by AI-powered search and perplexity with the north engine. Perplexity provides a communist approach to web discovery, which gives users directly and well -researched rather than listing the search results. The platform is designed to handle follow-up questions and give reference-rich information in real time. While the original version of perplexity is free for all, the Pro version brings advanced features for heavy users, professionals and those who rely on AI for deep research and productivity.
With Perplexity Pro, users find unlimited daily pro, advanced AI models such as GPT-4.1 and cloud, option to upload files for analysis, image generation tools, and the option to get access to perplexity labs, a place where users can test and construct new ideas using AI. To activate free membership, the Airtel users can simply log in to the Airtel thanks and follow the instructions given.
Airtel has confirmed that the proposal is open to all its current customers. This is the first time Perplexity is associated with a telecom operator in India. Perplexity has previously participated in other countries with companies like SoftBank and T-Mobile. The partnership is seen as part of a large push to bring high -end AI equipment in the hands of users everyday users in India, one of the world’s largest internet markets.
“This cooperation will not bring powerful and real-time knowledge tools for millions of users on its fingers at any extra cost. The first general-AI partnership of its kind in India focuses on helping our customers navigate emerging trends in the digital world with confidence and comfort,” Gopal Vital said in a statement.
Perplexity co-founder and CEO, Arvind Srinivas also spoke on the partnership, saying, “This partnership is an exciting way to make more people in India accurate, reliable and professional-grade AI-A student, working professional, or managing a house.
