Actress and entrepreneur Aditi Govitrikar is all set for her new show Mismatched Season 3 on Netflix. Aditi will be seen playing the role of Rohit Saraf’s mother. The show also stars actor and social media sensation Prajakta Kohli in the lead role. Aditi, who started her journey with modeling, later won the title of Mrs. India in the year 2000. In the same year, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza also won this crown. Aditi entered the world of acting and later also studied doctorate.

In an exclusive conversation with India Today Digital, Aditi shed light on some key memories from her modeling days, and also recalled her meetings with Priyanka, Lara and Dia. Aditi said, ‘When I started my career as a model, Priyanka and Lara also used to model with me. We’ve done shows together because we all started our respective journeys together to some extent. Life came full circle when we all won our crowns in the same year. I remember that since we won our respective competitions from different organisations, we all were honored in different ways.

Aditi further added, “After winning the competition, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza were crowned and were given houses and cars and what not, and I remember being alone there with the Mrs. India title , who had just received a bouquet of flowers. I was watching them and hoping that I too would get it. However Lara was the sweetest and funniest. She came to me and said I want what you have – a man and flowers because I have won the title of Mrs. I still remember this beautiful moment because I remember telling Lara that I want the house and the keys. It was a lovely event.”

“In fact, life became complete once again for me when the makers of Mismatched approached me to play the role of Rohit Saraf’s mother. Priyanka Chopra played the role of Rohit’s mother in The Sky Is Pink and that was when I saw Rohit’s work for the first time. Now, I get the opportunity to play her mother in the third season of the show,” Aditi concluded.
