US President Donald Trump’s Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, has added a surprising new security system – a robot dog that is now monitoring the property. Following Trump’s recent election victory, security at the luxury estate has been increased, and the Secret Service has deployed this high-tech “guard dog” to keep watch. The robotic dog with four metal legs and an array of advanced surveillance equipment, all designed to ensure the safety of the President-elect and his team.

The robot dog was spotted by the New York Post. The publication then shared a video of the robot dog wandering among palm trees on the green lawn of Mar-a-Lago. A sign on the side reads, “No pets”, making it clear that this is not a friendly pet but a working machine.

Built by Boston Dynamics Co., this robot dog is part of the Secret Service’s effort to secure the President-elect without putting human guards in dangerous situations. The Secret Service hasn’t shared what the robot can do, but they say it’s packed with technology to help protect property.

Inside Mar-a-Lago, Trump is busy planning his new administration after a close election against Kamala Harris. Security at his property is tight, especially after he faced two attempted attacks on him during the campaign. Now, the robot dog provides additional security and keeps an eye on the grounds day and night.

The Post reports that robot dogs are becoming more popular for security purposes in the US. Police and fire departments use similar robotic dogs to respond to dangerous situations. In New York, police have their own “DigiDog” robot dogs, which they send to risky areas instead of officers. Last year, when a parking garage collapsed in New York, the fire department sent a robot dog to search for survivors in the debris. Robots can go where it is too dangerous for people to walk.

Robotic dogs are also used by some armies. In Ukraine, they have been deployed to support troops, deliver supplies, and monitor enemy lines without harming humans.
Under the watchful eye of this robot dog, Mar-a-Lago blends old luxury with new technology. This unusual growth is a sign of the future of security. It quietly monitors the property, providing a high-tech layer of security for Trump and his team.
