Like Airtel and Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio has also announced a price hike for both prepaid and postpaid plans. Among the three telcos, Jio was the first to introduce new and increased prices. Despite the price hike, plan benefits including call minutes and data allowance will remain unchanged. The new prepaid plans have seen a 12 per cent hike compared to the previous ones. The new prices will come into effect from July 3. Vodafone Idea is giving one more day to enjoy the old plans as the increased prices will come into effect from July 4. Jio Platforms Limited is also introducing two new applications, JioSafe and JioTranslate.

Earlier prepaid plans used to start from Rs 155, but now it has become Rs 189. The same features are given in this plan, but now its price has increased. Let’s know in detail.

• Rs 189 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 155, is now priced at Rs 189. It includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB data and SMS benefits for 28 days.
• Rs 249 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 209, is now priced at Rs 249. It offers 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 28 days.
• Rs 299 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 239, is now priced at Rs 299. It includes 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 28 days.
• Rs 349 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 299, is now priced at Rs 349. It offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 28 days.
• Rs 399 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 349, is now priced at Rs 399. It includes 2.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 28 days.
• Rs 449 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 399, is now priced at Rs 449. It offers 3GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 28 days.

• Rs 579 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 479, is now priced at Rs 579. It includes 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 56 days.
• Rs 629 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 533, is now priced at Rs 629. It offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 56 days.

3 Month Plans

• Rs 479 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 395, is now priced at Rs 479. It includes 6GB data, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 84 days.
• Rs 799 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 666, is now priced at Rs 799. It offers 1.5 GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 84 days.
• Rs 859 plan: This plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 719, is now priced at Rs 859. It includes 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits for 84 days.
