According to a report by Deccan Herald, Nagarjuna Akineni is seen to play the role of Big Bad in starring Rajinikanth. Apparently, sources close to the project claim that various names were considered for the role of the villain in the film, but after the performance of a actor experienced as Simon in the coolie, the producer settled in the name of Nagarjuna.
