Sources say that actor Saif Ali Khan was taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan in an autorickshaw. At that time there was no driver available at his home in Mumbai.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder At his Mumbai residence at around 2:30 am on Thursday. After the incident, Saif’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan took him to Lilavati Hospital.
Sources told India Today that Ibrahim, 23, had to take his father to the hospital in an autorickshaw as there was no driver available at their home in the morning.
Saif is currently Recovering in Lilavati Hospital After surgery for injuries sustained during the attack. He may be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.

On Thursday, around 2:30 am, a domestic help raised an alarm about an intruder in the children’s room. As soon as he entered the room, Saif confronted the intruder and was stabbed six times, leaving him seriously injured. The intruder has been identified and he fled from the spot.
Sources revealed that Kareena Kapoor and her sons, Taimur and Jeh were at home during the incident.
Police have confirmed that the intruder entered the home through a fire escape in an attempt to commit theft.
Saif Ali Khan’s team released a statement on Thursday morning where they “requested the media and fans to be patient”.
A statement read, “An attempted theft was made at the residence of Mr. Saif Ali Khan. He is currently undergoing surgery in the hospital. We request the media and fans to be patient. The domestic help has filed a case against the intruder under sections of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) related to trespassing and attempt to murder.
