Speculations are rife about the much-awaited Bollywood comeback of desi girl Priyanka Chopra. The actress, who recently completed shooting for the second season of Citadel, hinted at doing a Hindi film. Now, amid rumors of her comeback in Bollywood, her mother Madhu Chopra recently revealed that PeeCee’s production house, Purple Pebble Pictures, has shifted to the US.
While talking to Instant Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra made a big revelation and told that Purple Pebble Pictures has moved to America. He said, “Purple Pebble has now moved to America, so right now we are not making anything here in India, but God willing, Priyanka will come to India, but there are no plans right now.” (Purple Pebble has moved to America, so right now we are not making anything here in India. But God willing, if Priyanka comes to India, we will see, but there are no plans as of now.)
Fans are eagerly waiting for Priyanka Chopra’s comeback to Bollywood, especially her much-awaited film Jee Le Zara, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The film, which was announced for 2021, has sparked rumors about its future, with some suggesting it may be shelved.
When recently asked about the status of the film, Priyanka hinted that any update should come from Farhan Akhtar’s production house Excel Entertainment.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Priyanka addressed the status of Jee Le Zara, saying that inquiries for more information should be directed to Excel Entertainment.
Priyanka also mentioned about her comeback in Bollywood and said that she is meeting filmmakers and reviewing the script. Although her year has been full of various commitments, she promises that something exciting is on the way, saying, “I meet a lot of filmmakers here, read scripts, and actively look for something I want to do in Hindi. I want to. This year has been really busy for me, but I have something, I’ll leave it at that.”
On the work front, Chopra will next be seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Citadel Season 2. She also has a few other projects in her kitty, including The Bluff and Heads of States, the shooting of which she has already completed.
